It?s very important for NVC engineer to apply right VPD concept (SE & ALD; System Engineering and Analysis Leads Design) into NPD project at the early stage. The key objective of this job position is to execute system engineering and ALD (analysis leads design) concept for PD using the VPD tools and methodologies in NVH engineering area. This job position is responsible for global collaboration with global NVC as well as internal VPD departments. This job position has to lead global NVH technical forum and special team meeting for global NPD projects and AE projects.
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities
• Build NVC and VPD teamwork
As a member of NVC team in VPD organization, set up the teamwork for internal/external communication and system engineering, for example, SnD and NVH analysis, DHC and NVH analysis and etc.
• Develop NVH methodologies and leverage the core competencies
For better use of NVH engineering software, find and apply best solution of NVH CAE tools, if necessary, develop new methodologies for the new product development. And apply optimal design theory of NVH engineering. Leverage the available core competencies across the products and sites.
• Secure analysis/design inputs
For the right design, right inputs are inevitable; there will be various types of design input. At the beginning stage of PD process, check needs of CUP and plan CUP for the emerging market. By the CUP (customer usage profiling), secure right analysis and design input and make sure to database.
• Collaborate NPD
With the better harmony, well communicate with related departments like as PP, PO, V&V, TnPO and TP engineers. Apply VPD process into NPD process at the early stage of PD. And be a representative of VPD team.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Education/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
• Ph. D. or M. Sc. degree with 4 years in NVH engineering (both NVH simulation and testing)
• Experience in Driveline NVH analysis including torsional vibration analysis
• Experience in CUP(Customer Usages Profiling) and right design input process
• Knowledge in NPD(New Product Development) process of CE industry
