hela Sverige Mother Goose International Pre-school Kungsholmen is a dynamic and pedagogically-driven Swedish-English speaking pre-school with 22-year experience of international students.
We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia pedagogy and our curriculum is based on providing children with the opportunity to interact, play, learn and be curious about events in life. We shape our daily work and learning environments based on children's interests. We work in projects and every day is an exciting adventure with a visit to the local environment, museum, library or 4-H farm. Documentation is an important part of our mission and we are working on this in different ways. Mother Goose International Pre-school Kungsholmen has 25 children in 4 groups which are led by licensed, Swedish-English speaking pre-school teachers and now we are looking for a English speaking class room assistant for our educator team.
We have open rooms that are suitable for Reggio Emilia pre-school and built to be safe, inspiring and inviting. The pre-school has a private courtyard which is adapted for children.
The assistant helps the group working towards set goals and takes responsibility for driving the pre-school's educational program forward.
You should be able to plan, reflect and implement documentation and evaluation / monitoring of the educational work both individually and together in the team.
Description of qualifications:
Pre-school assistant/barnskötare certification or long experience, alternatively certified teacher training with emphasis on preschool / school.
You master the English language well; both written and spoken. You must have a solution focused and positive attitude and an ability to adapt activities to the children's interests and needs. You should be able to give children the opportunity to acquire a rich learning throughout the day in various activities based on our governing documents.
With a basic security in your mission, you should be able to meet parents and be service oriented. Your social skills are good and you may well have the ability to inspire your colleagues. You want to work with groups of children and take care of their needs.
