Industrial Architect and Projects, is currently looking for a New Product Introduction leader (NPI /
Project Lead). We are in an exciting and expansive phase to prepare for series production and
industrialization of new products. In your position as a NPI/project Leader you will support
Operations to introduce new products in production.
The work includes running projects based on
NPI directives in accordance with given processes and reporting the project's results on an ongoing
basis to a steering committee. The job will be a perfect opportunity to use and grow the leadership
ability and to get an understanding in economy reporting and controlling. If you are interested in
planning of projects, that will also be a part of the abilities that will be used and grown in this type of
a project leader role. Functionally, you will belong to the Industrial Architect and Projects and be part
of an experienced project management team.
The Industrial Architect and Projects function has a total of 14 employees and is responsible for all
technical project management support regarding the introduction of new and changed products
(NPI) in accordance with decided Program strategy plans and also all other type of projects that can
be run in the function. The function is also responsible for constantly improving the NPI process as
well as other functional areas of responsibility and work in accordance with the LEAN philosophy.
Main responsibilities as NPI/Project Leader:
The main responsibility of a NPI project lead is to secure the progress of a project from a schedule,
cost and quality point of view. The project shall follow the NPI process to secure the maturity of the
project at different gates as defined by the NPI process and life cycle gate process.
To secure the quality of the products the project follow the zero defects methodology and as project
manager this is one of most important aspects to keep under control, this is controlled by industry
standards such as AS13100, APQP and PPAP.
The project everyday progress is controlled by the plans and tasks defined, as a project manager this
must be followed to secure the progress of the project.
The project manager will report the project status and progress to a steering committee on a regular
basis. Stakeholder management is very important to secure that the stakeholders are informed about
the progress of the project and how it will affect their daily business. At the end of the project
knowledge shall be captured and lessons learned shall be defined.

technical background with the desire to develop in the field of project management and leadership.
You have a technical degree at university level or equivalent experience. Previous experience of
project or project management is preferred. Since we work in an international environment
proficiency in English is needed and business travel may occur.
