We are looking for a Notified Body Reviewer for Radio Equipment Directive (RED) to our Radio/EMC department. About the role
Intertek is notified by SWEDAC to be a Notified Body (NB) under RED (Radio Equipment Directive) 2014/53/EU. Within Testing we are now recruiting a notified body reviewer for RED that would like to be part of our great team.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of products from small wi-fi connected lighting products to complex radio base stations with Swedish and international clients. The work consists of reviewing client documents such as reports for radio, EMC and safety, design documents, risk analysis and manuals. Our clients need to fulfil the essential requirements in the Radio Equipment Directive to get market access for their products in Europe and Great Britain.
You will be part of our team here in Kista. To support you in your work you will have a lot of competent colleagues in the areas of EMC, radio and electrical safety. In addition to this you will also be working with Intertek colleagues globally (mainly in Asia and US).
About You
We believe that you have a bachelor's degree and some years of work experience in administration or testing of Radio products. You also have good understanding of electronics and basic knowledge of EMC. You have good oral and written proficiency in Swedish and English.
You thrive in an environment where you can use your business acumen as well as your analytical and administrative skills.
Merit but not required:
• Experience of conformity assessment
• Experience of product compliance
• Experience from working with EU directives and legislations
