Diageo is looking for a Nordics Regional Sales Manager
We are looking for someone who has experience from sales to various channels and who wants to work in an entrepreneurial environment where your contribution makes a difference. This is a possibility for you to broaden your experience in a truly international environment since you will be working in all areas; sales, brand and trade marketing.
Key Responsibilities
In this position you will be overall responsible for delivering excellent business performance in terms of net sales value, visibility and share.
• Building strong relationships with key customers, both at the account and store level, to drive sustainable Diageo and customer profitability.
• Develops joint sales plans.
• Delivers brand performance targets, in terms of volume, net sales value and market share, which are in line with the regional brand plan.
• Setting plans, execute and fully evaluate the right range of trade marketing and merchandising activities/programes to optimize short and long term sales growth and profitability.
Furthermore you will develop and implement a range of customer activities, consumer promotions, brand and retail initiatives, aligned with regional brand, marketing and trade strategies.
Required Qualifications/Experience
To succeed in this role the Sales Manager will have a proven level of commercial experience either in Sales or Customer marketing, preferably gained within a retail and/or consumer goods environment. Category management experience is an advantage, but not essential. We think you have about 3-5 years previous working experience. We see a possible history as a Key Account Manager working with multiple accounts and customers with multiple outlets, in Sweden this could be DVH/SVH/Horeca and Retail.
Furthermore you will:
• Be a strong influencer and negotiator, with a range and adaptability of style.
• Be highly analytical and data literate, understanding and evaluating the profit impact of their actions.
• Demonstrate commercial maturity and the ability to manage internal relationships including the pan regional brand team and Global supply.
• Be a superb planner with the ability to reconcile a complex matrix of brand, customer and consumer needs.
• Fluent in a Scandinavian language and English.
About the position
This position is a permanent employment. You will be placed in Diageo office in central of Stockholm, reporting to Customer Team Manager.
