Job description: Main tasks & Responsibilities:
• To lead the logistics operations in the Nordics to ensure that all service and financial performance
targets are met or exceeded:
• Plays a strategic role in the development of Divisional objectives which defines a financial and
strategic plan (AOP)
• Develops business plans to support objectives
• Forecasts resources required to achieve objectives
• Owns capital budgeting and forecast process
• Overall responsibility for leading the Logistics team and establishing human resource plan to
attract, develop and retain staff
• Overall responsibility for daily operational execution and enhancing customer service
• Drives division financial performance to achieve operating plan goals
• Reports on unit activities monthly and provides quarterly update on progress towards plan
Identifies areas for efficiency improvements and proposes solutions, acts as driver of change within
the organization
Qualifications: Profile and Requirements:
• University degree.
• Three to four years of senior operational role in a FMCG environment required.
• Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
• Analytical and able to resolve complex issues and problems in a sound and timely fashion.
• Teamplayer and able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
• Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and
deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and / or Warehouse Integrated systems.
