Workshop is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join us as a Elkjöp Nordic Team Lead for our client SquareTrade. SquareTrade is a leading InsurTech company in Europe who provides exceptional consumer electronics insurance services.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our sales operations across the region. You will have the opportunity to dive into a wide range of tasks, ensuring that no two days are alike. From strategic planning to team management, your expertise will be essential in driving our business forward.

Responsibilities:

As a Team Lead for the Elkjöp Nordic team, your role will be instrumental in driving the success and achievement of our Area Sales Managers' performance targets and strategic key performance indicators (KPIs). You will serve as a key liaison, delivering market insights on the Nordic region's major retailer to stakeholders within SquareTrade and their partners, following a defined cadence. You will also:

• Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for clients regarding Field Operations, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management

• Assume accountability for the operational oversight of our retail marketplace team, specifically the Area Sales Managers, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations

• Establish and maintain performance standards for the Area Sales Managers, monitoring their progress against strategic objectives to drive business success

• Effectively communicate marketplace plans, critical information, and strategic initiatives to the team, fostering a culture of transparency and alignment

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that motivates and engages the Area Sales Managers, encouraging their active participation and contribution

• Provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and support to team members, empowering them to unleash their full potential and enhance their performance and productivity

• Facilitate regular team meetings, individual sessions, and performance reviews to promote effective communication, growth, and accountability

• Identify training and development needs within the team, proactively recommending initiatives to enhance their skills and knowledge base

• Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics, identifying trends and generating actionable insights to drive continuous improvement and optimize outcomes

• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in retail marketplaces

• Collaborate cross-functionally with other team leads to ensure marketplace activities are aligned with overall business goals and objectives, fostering synergy and maximizing outcomes

• Monitor and track team budget and monthly progress, providing regular updates to the Account Manager, ensuring financial targets are met

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the retail and consumer electronics industry

• Proven leadership experience, ideally in store management, with a focus on consumer training and coaching

• Experience of product training for large groups

• Possibility to travel occasionally regionally, nationally and international travels

• Track record of monitoring and following up on KPI performance

• Fluent in either Norwegian/Swedish and English, both written and verbal

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

• Have a valid drivers license

Working Hours: Full time, with 6 months probation period
Location: Oslo/Stockholm (Remote initially)
Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement
