We are now looking for a Supply Planner for a fixed term contract until December 2013.
As a supply planner you will be the link between market and the factories, you will work closely with production as well as the rest of the Nordic Supply Chain Team. You will be expected to ensure stock availability for a specific category of products and manage the stock of those products to meet the customer requirements. You will also be responsible for flagging any supply risks and looking for solutions to minimize impact on Customer Service or obsolete stock development.
The position is placed in Helsingborg, and you will work closely with and report to the Supply Team in Solna, why some travel is needed to uphold a great communication and collaboration.
Key responsibilities:
• Ensure stock availability for a specific category / sub-category
• Manage potential supply risks and ensure clear communication to internal and external business partners within the organization
• Follow up on weekly case fill and analyze reasons behind losses, and suggest improvements
• Specialize in Obsolete stock evaluation for a specific category / subcategory
• Keep an ongoing dialogue with Brand Building, Demand Planning and Unilever Supply Chain Company
• Take part in the delivery of effective launches.
Your background:
To be successful in this role you should have a university degree within Engineering or Economics preferably within the Logistics area, and/or working experience in Supply Planning or logistics. You need to be fluent in both speaking and writing in Swedish and English. Ideally you have working knowledge of SAP/R3 and APO, but if you are a fast learner, this is not a must. A good working knowledge of Excel is preferred. As a person you have the ability to build relationships and think and act across function and along processes. We also want you to be analytical and structured together with a good team spirit and great communication skills. The right candidate needs to have a strong drive, ability to challenge in order to continuously improve and be proactive towards issues with a "work smarter not harder" mindset.
