We are now looking for a Security Manager responsible for all the Nordic countries. The Security Manager works with both internal and external security, involving UPS customers, subcontractors, employees, aviation and our packages. The position is a part of the Nordic executive team and you report to the Nordic CEO. You are a person with high integrity and ability to handle classified information professionally. We also believe that you can work in a high pace and still have an eye for details. As a manager for the Nordic Security department you must have strong leadership skills and the ability to teach and train your colleges in security procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for the Nordic Security department (20 persons)
• Conduct investigations appropriate to specific instances of loss, damage or injury to UPS property, equipment, personnel or packages
• Conduct investigations in case of suspected theft or fraud
• Conduct internal audits
• Develop security awareness within the organization
• Establish and maintain contacts with appropriate government agencies, security organizations and customers
• Ensure the physical security of UPS buildings, vehicles, equipment, employees, cash and records
• Implementation and maintenance of aviation security
• Provide direction, training and guidance for aviation security
• Make sure UPS are compliant with EU and local aviation regulatory requirement
• Coordinate and implement EU regulations and other appropriate authority requirements.

Qualifications:

• Experience from a management role
• Preferably 5-10 years experience working with security
• Excellent communications skills (English)
• Problem solving and decision making skills
• Analytic
• University degree is beneficial

The work location is based at the UPS Nordic head office in Järfälla, Stockholm but frequent travels within the Nordic countries are part of the position.
