Together with our sister companies in the Czech Republic, Russia and the United States we are the packaging company Petainer. Petainer is focused on plastic packaging, mostly PET, and supply from our factories to customers in the Nordic countries, Central Europe, USA, Asia, Russia, etc. In total, we have approximately 350 employees within the Petainer Group and a turnover of 1 MDSEK. At the factory in Lidköping, we have approximately 110 employees and a turnover of 450 MSEK. As Nordic Sales Director you are responsible for our sales activities in the Nordic region. You have overall responsibility to develop, organize and follow up new as well as existing businesses within the different product areas Small container, Large container, Keg and Jars. Major focus will be on new customers within our new product areas Keg and Jars. You will also be responsible for two of our largest key accounts.
As Nordic Sales Director, you are both operational and strategical in manage and develop the business. You are also responsible for producing quotes, listing prices, attending trade fairs and working with other Petainer businesses.
The position is located in Lidköping and you report to Commercial Director. For now, you will have personal responsibility for one salesman and two sales administrators. The position includes about 100 travel days / year.
Skill Requirements
You have good experience of customer contacts and building relationships within B2B and you have a proven experience of sales in different areas and levels. Experience from the manufacturing industry, preferably from the packaging industry and plastic is a strong merit. Furthermore, we see that you have some kind of degree in sales and / or marketing and you have experience from sales management.
A very good knowledge in English, both verbally and in writing, is a requirement, also good computer skills to handle MS Office and business systems.
To succeed in this role, it is a prerequisite that you are driven and have a great commitment while being responsive to the needs of the customers. Your attitude is important, you are business oriented, fearless and can make clear decisions. You are good at communicating and find it easy to build and maintain good business relationships.
