To strengthen our Nordic organisation, we are now looking for our next
Nordic Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety Assurance Manager
In this role you will run our Quality Assurance, Environment, Health and Safety function in Dräger Nordic. You will at the same time have the operational responsibilities within these areas in our Swedish business, meaning that you hands-on implement relevant QEHS tasks, manage procedures and address issues to achieve our targets within this area, including our ISO certifications 9001, 13485, 14001 and 45001.
Your base will be in Gothenburg and you report to Head of Shared Services. You will yourself lead the Nordic QEHS team, consisting of three quality and data protection professionals, all of them having their operational tasks in Denmark, Norway, and Finland respectively.
THE JOB
Your main task, both as responsible for the Nordic function and the Swedish part of it, is to collaborate with managers, process owners and other colleagues in creation, maintenance, and retention of relevant system documentation. This to provide evidence of compliance with relevant quality, environmental, health and safety and directives, standards, and requirements. An important part of that work is to support, plan and organize external audits by notified bodies or customers and ensure elimination of findings from these with appropriate actions.
Another important part of your responsibilities will be to support mainly the Swedish organisation in their daily QEHS work. This includes, among other things, to ensure the promotion of awareness of regulatory and customer requirements throughout the organization, provide support to managers and employees on legislative requirements and advise employees on related measures. Also, you are expected to provide relevant trainings for system related matters and assess occupational health and safety rules of customers for work on their locations and ensure communication to relevant employees.
Since our business is all about preserving and saving lives, we have multiple regulatory requirements on our products, including communication with applicable authorities regarding medical device incident reporting and complaint handling. You will be responsible to instruct and (re)train employees on company emergency response matters and ensure implementation of field corrective actions, as well as risk management of quality improvement projects and internal changes.
WHO ARE YOU?
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have a university degree within business, engineering or comparable and 3 to 5 years of work experience within relevant area. If you have experience of regulatory affairs and management in a medical device company this would be considered as a merit. We also think that you have managerial experience of leading a small team of specialists You are a good communicator, both in English and at least one Nordic language and you have strong influencing skills to lead executive management, peers, and subordinates
