As a Marketing Communication Manager you will lead the Nordic Marketing Communication department with the responsibility of the Kärcher brand in the region for both B2B and B2C. You will implement a customer-centric sales and communication strategy for all target groups in the Professional and Retail business areas and contribute to Kärcher's vision of becoming a market leader. You work closely together with Sales and Product management. You will work closely with all functional areas in the Nordic Countries and with the Headquarter. You will have a base in the Nordic Headquarter in Gothenburg and report to the regional director Nordics. You will have a team of 8 direct reports and 2 indirect.
• drive the Integrated Annual Marketing Communication Plan for The Nordic Countries, which is the consolidated plan of promotion activities, training and education, events and marketing communication
• responsible for managing and planning resources, both internal and external
• responsible for conducting projects in the field of marketing
• involved in the business area's marketing budget (planning, coordination and follow-up)
• manage the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding Marketing and develop customer account plans together with the local Sales Management and Product Management
• responsible for the Nordic Marketing Communication Plan
• customize/adapt global campaigns to the Nordic market, in accordance with our global brand and communications platform
• negotiate cost effective and fully functional cooperation with relevant partners to achieve our goals. (Media / PR / Content / Translation agencies, printers, photographers, etc.)
• ensure an effective mix within all media channels (Earned, Payed, Owned).
• Follow up and measure the results of campaigns and activities to drive continuous development
• further develop the use of digital channels in our market communication
Who you are
The position requires a degree in business administration with minimum of 5 year's professional management experience, preferable from retail with experience in B2B and B2C. You have a strong marketing communication experience and preferably experience from all Marketing disciplines including Product Management, Retail Marketing, Digital Marketing.
You are a driven and self-motivated manager as well as a team-player who likes to deliver results and ready to go an extra mile for your colleagues, partners and customers. As Nordic Marketing Communication Manager at Kärcher you must have a strong experience in leadership and you will bring business and people together to create excellent and sustainable performance. You have an eye for details in combination with an analytical mind-set and great organizational skills. Furthermore, it is important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, since you will interact with a broad range of internal and external contacts. Acting with integrity, you easily build trust and commitment. Being used to working in a changing environment, where you have the possibility to be part of creating something new and make a difference, is a key motivation factor.
