Capgemini strengthens its legal organization within data protection and are now hiring a Nordic Deputy Data Protection Officer
The Role and Key responsibilities
Capgemini has set up a data protection organization articulated around a Group Data Protection Officer, Regional and Local Data Protection Officers. Capgemini in Sweden are now recruiting a Deputy Data Protection Officer, for the Nordic Region. You will report to the Nordic Data Protection Officer (DPO), be a part of the Nordic Legal Team and a member of the global DPO community and global Legal team within Capgemini. The position is based in Stockholm, Sweden.
As the Nordic Deputy DPO, your responsibility will be to support the DPO and the organization in securing that the business conducted in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland is in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.
Your key responsibilities will include working with and lead a wide range of data protection related issues and assignments such as implementing, monitoring and enforcing Capgemini 's privacy and data protection framework, policies and Binding Corporate Rules in the Nordics. You will provide legal advice with a pragmatic wrapping to business colleagues and among other things do privacy impact assessments and risk assessments of various sort, supporting the Business with data protection related matters in RFI/RFP 's, review and negotiating relevant contractual clauses in larger deals. You will continuously raise privacy awareness through training sessions as well as by informing and advising staff in order to ensure compliance.
Who are you?
You have a university degree in law or equivalent education. You have relevant and thorough knowledge of data privacy regulations including in-depth knowledge of GDPR and preferably you have relevant working experience of dealing with data protection and privacy issues on a Nordic basis and for international organizations. Knowledge of and interest in information technology, systems and infrastructure are preferred but not a requirement.
You are structured with strong project management and organizational skills, and you have integrity, professional ethics and sound judgement in managing risks and enforcing Group-wide standards. You know how to communicate effectively with both the highest levels of management and decision-making individuals within the organization, as well as with other levels and build professional relationships with internal as well as external stakeholders. You have good training and presentation skills, and you are fluent in English and Swedish. Knowledge in other Nordic languages is a plus.
