Marine test Center
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Acoustic Engineer to work within a team of likeminded engineering problem solvers within our Product Development unit. You will be working in a highly global working environment with the latest technology and advanced analytical methods. You will work in a unique marine environment at the Marine Test Center.
The unit has 250 employees developing power systems for industrial and marine applications. The department Marine test center within Product Development is responsible for testing and optimization regarding performance, noise emissions, reliability and durability in the complete boat installation, the department is also responsible for the NVH work within product development both on marine and industrial applications.
We are looking for a specialist responsible for driving the development within the NVH area.
Job description:
Independently identify and solve NVH related problems
Drive advance engineering projects with development projects as the customer.Develop test methods.
Work together with projects with NVH support and to carry out measurements.
Identify potential new research areas that would benefit from Noise and Vibration Technology development
Act as a NVH area representative
Responsibility of engine suspensions
Analyze and write engineering reports and present results
Educate personal and promote new concepts and capabilities within NVH.
Qualifications
M.Sc. degree in acoustics or vibrations.
Experience from product development of NVH properties.
Experienced with various acoustic and vibration measurement techniques.
Interest in and previous experience of product development and automotive technology
Ability to identify and drive NVH related issues
Good knowledge in English and Swedish
Ability to conclude and communicate project issues understandably to the organization
Project management skills
