About our NOC:
As part of fulfilling the objective in becoming the leading global online banking payments provider, we're currently staffing our "Mission Control Center". We're building a Network Operations Center (NOC) and totally rewriting how we manage service.
We're building an in-house team to manage service and stability 24x7, which will give better visibility of security and service incidents across the entire tech estate. By spotting issues earlier and resolving them faster, we'll deliver better experiences for our customers across the globe. Located in our fantastic city center Stockholm office our NOC operates in the epicenter of today's global fintech business.
As NOC operator you'll have involvement in the monitoring of systems, networks, databases, and hosted services for issues, such as stability, capacity, and security as well as act as a first-line triage for the NOC. We provide 24/7 first-line tech support for service, stability, and security event notifications and incident response processes, and deliver first-level investigation and remediation activities.
About you:
You are eager to learn, a curious type of person, service-oriented and you love troubleshooting! Furthermore, you are a person who likes to take responsibility and who contributes to the team's efficiency by making things smarter/faster/better.
We attach great importance to personal qualities and see that you are a person with a good communicative ability who can connect theory with practice. You are analytically inclined and you like to share information and conclusions with others.
What you 'll do:
Actively monitor Trustly's tech platforms, ensuring availability and security are forefronts
Respond to incidents and alerts raised from our observability tools or 3rd party monitoring
Ownership of high priority Technical incidents and alerts ensuring progress and escalation within the set criteria
Maintain and develop playbooks in line with working processes, periodical reviews as required
Actively partake in the onboarding of new services to further secure and safeguard our business growth
Report on Trustly's daily Network Operations Status
Work daytime, evenings, and weekends with a very good chance of influencing what kind of shifts you work

Who you are:
Higher Vocational Education (HVE) or similar
At least 2 years of experience from similar jobs such as an IT technician or IT support or in a NOC/SOC in Second-line or equivalent
You need to be fluent in English, both written and speaking
Intermediate level Linux skills, including installation, systems administration, and troubleshooting
Basic networking knowledge, including topology and protocol understanding.

It is an advantage if you have operated:
Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Opsgenie, Insight
Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus
Public and private clouds as well as IaaS
Docker, Kubernetes
DevOps and Infrastructure as Code used for development, testing, implementation and operation (Ansible, Terraform, Forman etc)
IT security in LAN, WAN and public clouds
Scripting for configuration and automation and in Python/JavaScript
