About NitroCapt
Nitrocapt was founded in 2016 and has invented a new fossil-free and emission-free chemical process to produce nitrogen fertilizers. Our vision is to lead the transformation of agriculture towards a sustainable future. Today we are 10 employees and 4 partners based at different Universities in Europe. Our first customers are eager to start the building of the first factories with our technology. We also have the potential to have 500+ employees already by 2030. We are ready to take off on our mission to create a sustainable and reliable food production, through leading the transition on this EUR80 bn industry.
What sets us apart is that we really believe in our team, meaning you won't find any micro-management here. Second is that we do not only talk about doing something good - we do it!
What you will do
The most important resource in an organization consists of the people who can turn the vision into reality. That is why we are looking for NitroCapt's very first Head of People and Culture!
As Head of People and Culture, your purpose would be to make NitroCapt an employer of choice. This entails building the HR foundation and processes, supporting our CEO and managers in various queries and be a go-to person for all HR related matters. In a long-term perspective, the goal is to establish your own People and Culture team.
This role requires you to work both with the nitty gritty parts of HR, as well as with the more strategic, long-term issues. The HR work at NitroCapt is mostly a blank canvas and we believe that you are the expert in the area. The following list is an example of work tasks:
• Create and implement processes and policies within People and Culture
• Strengthen the employee experience in different ways
• Work with recruitment
• Support employees in visa and work permit applications
• Support the CEO and managers in people related matters
• Find ways to digitize and streamline the HR processes and routines
• Explore ways to build, strengthen and promote the company culture and values
You will be working from our offices in Uppsala and report to our COO.
Who are we looking for?
We think that you have:
• University degree within HR, behaviour, or social studies
• Experience working in a similar role in either a start-up or scale-up
• Experience working in an international company
Skills needed

Since we are on a scale-up journey, it is vital that you are a humble and prestigeless person who is happy to help where necessary. We believe that you are a strong communicator with emphatic capabilities that help you understand other perspectives. Investing a lot of time, commitment and energy in your work comes naturally to you, and your flexibility enables you to quickly see the possibilities that changes can bring.
This role requires that you can speak fluent Swedish as well as English.
