hela Sverige We are looking for hourly employees who can work in our operations located in Arlanda stad.
We have a business that we run 7/24, which means that we have certain requirements for you as an applicant.
The following requirements we place on new potential employees:
• You must speak, read and write English (reasonable level) and preferable some Swedish.
• You must be able to work during the day or in the evenings or on weekends. Ideally, however all these times.
• You must pass a background check and a security clearance, as the work takes place within a such areas.
• You must have a permit to work in the EU.
• As a person, you need to be thorough and punctual.
Essentials functions:
• Load and unload of all equipment on trucks.
• Check to ensure the correct number of trolleys and cabinets to be delivered before loading.
• Fill pre-trip inspection book & perform mandatory safety checks of the vehicle for each shift.
• Ensure the loading the product into vehicles is done according to plan galley.
• Ensure all items are delivered on time for each flight.
• Communicate by radio to supervisors and dispatcher for all items related to the job, including to provide updates and issues on whereabouts.
• Drive a heavy vehicle while respecting traffic regulations.
• Secure all products before delivery to the aircraft by sealing material in the truck.
• Maintain clean working area, clean loading docks, and clean equipment.
• Clean the vehicle and the area around the dock after each shift.
• Observe the proper use of equipment.
• Maintain proper compliance with general manufacturing practices.
• Visibly wear Newrest uniform, including safety vest, work boots, and SIDA badge.
• Fill various security documents and certificates related to safety and HACCP.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Follow all procedures for health, safety, and security.
• Properly utilize and comply with all relative technology provided to complete daily functions.
• Follow all current and new operation procedures.
• Communicate to leadership if a safety risk is presented.
• Accommodate any job task requested by leadership.
• Understand and be aware of the rapidly changing work environment.
• Be diligent, punctual, and reliable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to pass all required airport security clearance.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Understanding and ability to use and manage technological devices.
• Must have good attendance records.
• Ability to adapt to new operating procedures.
• Must be aware of safety risks.
• Ability to communicate issues and knowledge gaps.
• Good knowledge of HACCP.
• Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends (depending on assigned shift) and work overtime when required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
