Job description

At the Systems organization, our goal is to ensure that the product will be a technological and business success that exceeds the customer's expectation. As a System Engineer, you will play an important role in the development of the next-generation radio access network and your contribution will have a clear impact on the bottom line.

In this role, you will be involved with system investigations and modeling, as well as simulation of the radio network and radio link algorithms. This will involve using advanced antenna techniques such as MIMO and OFDM-based radio. Simulations are primarily performed using Java, C++ and Matlab.

This role also offers you the opportunity to follow the product from its early development phase up to its delivery to the customer. These positions are based in Stockholm (Kista), Sweden.

Qualifications and requested competence

• A Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Data Communication or equivalent academic degree is required.
• You must have experience of programming in C++, Java and Matlab.
• A strong theoretical ability and understanding of the functionality of radio access networks is required.
• Fluency in English - both written and spoken - is essential.

In this role, you will need to be a self-starter who can take the initiative and work independently while at the same time being an effective team player. You will need to work to deadlines and be focused on results. Most importantly, we want someone who is open to learning and will share their findings with others.
