hela Sverige Region EM&APAC is responsible for marketing and sales of the complete range of Volvo Penta products including Parts and accessories via its importers within Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Oceania, Pacific Basin and Asia. In "Marketing & Sales, Marine and Industrial Power Systems" you will be working with some of the most interesting and inspiring countries, cultures and persons in the world.
We are looking for a person who can take on the task of setting up new private importers as well as develop our existing. Your main focus will be to implement go-to-market strategies which will include market researches, finding distribution and marketing channels and especially develop new private Volvo Penta importers at new markets. You will work in a close collaboration with four colleagues who have the sales responsibility for all our engine products within marine and industrial power systems to our private Volvo Penta importers.
Main Areas of Responsibility
You will be responsible for an increased geographical footprint in line with our long term strategies and short term goals.
• Develop and implement market strategies
• Continuous collection of market intelligence
• Search for and sign up new importers in area of interest
• Develop and provide product sales trainings ensuring that new importers have comprehensive information about our products
• Importer development - make sure the private Volvo Penta importers have a competitive positioning and are equipped with the right information at the right time for our relevant customer segments
• Develop customer relations

Qualifications
We believe that right candidates are customer focused, enjoy working in a team and inspire others. The person that we are looking for is an entrepreneurial spirit with excellent social networking skills and has a result-oriented mindset and an outstanding drive.
• University degree in Engineering and/or Business administration
• A strong business acumen
• Willingness to travelling frequently, periods up to four weeks at a time, is a must
• Strong knowledge about diesel engines & electronics
• Experience from working with business development within marine commercial, marine leisure and industrial business segments
• Experience from working with private importers in emerging markets
• Proven communication, presentation and networking skills
• Experience of working in an international environment and interest in different cultures
• Strong analytical, project management and planning skills
• Fully proficient in English - verbal and writing
• French, Russian, Spanish and Swedish languages are further qualifiers
• Strong general computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
