The Global Expansion function is responsible for all aspects of creating our Group's Real Estate Portfolio: we lease, design, draw, buy, build and maintain each store and constantly follow up on the existing portfolio to ensure high profitability. Each year we add stores in new and existing markets and optimize the current portfolio through rebuilds, extensions, renegotiations, relocations and consolidations.
In your role as New Markets Project Responsible you are the direct link between the H&M market's and/or franchise partner expansion organization and the Group Head Office to drive expansion growth and ensuring expansion targets are being reached.
You will cooperate closely with the New Markets project team and Global Franchise organization and other departments within Global Expansion to align targets and communication, enabling best expansion support in own and franchise markets.
Your responsibilities will typically include:
• Ensure there is a clear growth strategy for all H&M Group brands and efficient way of working in each market you work with
• To support and challenge responsible organization in each market in setting ambitious qualitative and quantitative targets for each market
• To follow up each market's expansion strategy to ensure that the portfolio is commercially competitive and in line with the overall global standard
• To ensure each project fulfills global quality standards and to strive for constant improvement of current standards
• To prepare signing presentations and give clear recommendations to the Board during signing sessions
• Drive collaboration between Global Franchise organization and global leasing, legal, construction, interior and facility teams for all teams to work towards common goals of the Group, both globally and in each market
• To support the markets' leasing teams in negotiations when needed
• To support the New Markets and Franchise Expansion Team with analytical research and market study
• To support all H&M Group brands in entering new markets

Your qualities/skills:
• Commercial mind-set and good understanding of the retail and real-estate industry
• Experience as Leasing manager from an international company
• Strong Communication and Analytical skills
• Knowledge of franchise retail business
• Negotiation experience
• Ability to challenge people and processes and being comfortable with that
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently
The position will be a permanent employment, full time and located at our Head Office in Stockholm. Starting date is to be decided.
