Artificial Solutions is looking for a bright new graduated Systems Engineer to join our Hosting & Support team based in our Stockholm office. You will work autonomously within a team of remotely based system engineers, who are responsible for the 24 x 7 operation of all production environments. The position offers a lot of freedom under responsibility and will allow you to grow both as a person and within our company in order to realize your full potential.

The position will focus on:
• Being part of a team responsible for the day to day operation of the SaaS platform
• Proactively monitoring and maintaining the production environment ensuring optimal uptime
• Building and Installing server hardware
• Troubleshooting any incident which may arise
• Undertaking any planned maintenance activities.
• Acting as primary / secondary support engineer for the 24 x 7 on call rota providing reactive support to critical failures within the production environment.

Skills:
• Ideally 1-2 years experience working with Linux operating system, including installation, configuration, system administration, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Working Knowledge of Apache, Tomcat or Glassfish
• Working knowledge of Windows
• Knowledge of Databases, Postgres, Mysql is preferred
• Working knowledge of IP based networking is preferred
• Working knowledge of VMware and virtualization will be desirable but not essential
• Fluent conversational and written English is a must
