About the job
GPHE Product Development is divided in two design teams, the NPD Team and the EPD Team. Together these teams have a global responsibility to develop and continuously improving the existing gasketed and semi-welded Heat Exchangers.
Role description
As a Design Engineer in the GPHE NPD and EPD Teams you will mainly work with development of gasketed and semi-welded heat exchanger products.
Development is performed in project form, coordinating cross functional activities. Your role in this will be as a designer/sub-project manager.
As a Design Engineer you will act as a project manager for cross functional product concept projects.
Your everyday activities will consist of product design, 3D- CAD modelling, 2D-drawings, PDM-system work etc.
Design work is mainly done in our 3D CAD systems Inventor/Vault and Creo/PDM-Link.
Teamcenter is used to build and maintain Product structure and data.
Qualifications
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering.
You have a few years of experience within product development.
You are a prestigeless team player who is keen to share knowledge.
You have good communication skill and social competence.
You are creative with analytical skills, committed to your work and have a great interest in technology.
You are structured and can see both details and the big picture.
You have 3D-CAD experience, preferably from Creo or Inventor.
It is an advantage, but not necessary, to have FE-analysis experience.
Since you will work with colleagues in an international environment you should be fluent in English.
