This could mean new segments, new business models and new offerings. We are now making changes in the organisation to be better equipped to exploit and realise such future growth possibilities.

Your mission and area of responsibility

As New Business Manager you will create new business opportunities for Clas Ohlson outside core business, in line with our overall strategy. A new business is defined as a business that requires another model, competence or financing than our core retail business.
You will scout for, initiate, capitalize and operationalize the new venture in close cooperation with Clas Ohlson core business e.g. concept/branding, sales and IT. You should also be able to run the business in an entrepreneurial way of working to more flexible and agile and be able to deliver new concepts to the market.

We are looking for two New Business Managers, with different profiles:

• New Business Manager - Commercial, with skills in commercial due diligence processes, venture building/entrepreneurship and operations of small business.

• New Business Manger - Financial, with focus on running financial due diligence, creating decision material and handling investor relations.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for structured, analytic and result oriented New Business Managers with strong leadership skills. You are passionate about finding commercial solutions to simplify life in all kinds of homes. You have strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation together with excellent presentation skills and a great ability to prepare decision-making material.

Most likely, you have a master degree within a relevant field of education, such as business and/or engineering in combination with relevant work life experience within the field of expertise. To be successful in the role you need to have good understanding of retailing and digital business models.
