Challenge description
The Volvo Penta vision is to be the world leader in sustainable power solutions. We have a history of innovation and enjoy strong market positions based on our current product and service offer. We are now in the starting blocks of developing next generation solutions that will be connected, electrified and automated. To accelerate this transformation we have recently established a dedicated function to lead the transformation, and we are now expanding the team with a New Business Change and Transformation Manager.
The transformation towards new business models and solutions will require new ways of working - from development and launch to sales and support. It will require new organizational capabilities, new competencies and new responsibilities.
The key responsibility of this role is to drive change management and support our organization into a pragmatic way of approaching the transformation towards connected, electrified and automated solutions and services.
The job will include
• Accelerating and aligning the organization's transformation strategies & initiatives
• Supporting new business projects as change manager
• Driving investigations / studies related to new responsibilities, processes and ways of working
• Manage awareness initiatives
• Preparing the new business operational governance forum

Competence Profile
• Street smart pathfinder, dedicated to guiding the organization into the "how" of change with a lean and pragmatic approach, while skillfully managing stakeholders
• Passionate change agent, with tools and ability to encourage people to try new ways of working and with perseverance making sure change happens
• Hands-on strategist, with the ability to quickly analyze a situation and outline possible solutions aligned with the overall direction
• People centric communicator, with the ability to package the why, what and when of change into a clear and compelling story
• Team player, comfortable working in flexible team constellations
We believe the successful candidate brings relevant experience from some of the following
• Organizational change and transformation management
• Operational development - strategic and hands-on
• Management consulting
• Business transformation from product to service
• Developing and launching new offers on an immature market
We believe you have a University degree as the basis for your career. You are fluent in English both in business and privately as well as in speaking and writing.
