Your role
You will be a part of a team run on tasks within your technical area, which includes several systems that makes it important to have wide knowledge and be prepared for a vast array of assignments. Your will be a part of a team of system administrators in Sweden and abroad.
Your team will run operations, development and upgrades of systems in order maintain the environments at the recommended security- and functional requirements. In order to maintain the team's knowledge, you will be responsible for keeping updated with developments and business intelligence in your field.
You will:
* Together with your colleagues build and maintain network infrastructure at Saab.
* Develop Network functionality within SAAB towards requirement today and in the future
* Work with a security mindset in all that you do.
* Work in large projects as well as short work tasks.
Your profile
You are a person with a will to learn and contribute. You can easily switch between work tasks and put your concentration where the need is largest at the time, with the long term focus on yours and your team's long term goals. You work in a team where you learn and help each other every day. You meet other people with respect and understanding, as customer interaction is a part of your everyday job.
You have the ability to communicate your needs, reflections and improvement suggestions to your colleagues in Swedish and English. You have a driver's license corresponding to Swedish B. Travels within Sweden and internationally is part of the job. This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
As a person, you are solution- and project oriented, pedagogic and service minded with excellent skills in Networking.
We believe that you are working hands-on as a Network Engineer today and are managing large/complex Network solutions. Understand the importance of providing not only the solutions but also the corresponding documentation needed. We expect you to have relevant university degree, and it 's an advantage if you have experience from working according to ITIL and ISO 27001.
As a skilled Network Technician at SAAB you need:
* Experience of Network design, Network security, Network operation that is a requirement for this employment.
* Documented experience in automation and scripting within Network area is an requirement for this employment
* Documented experience of operations and development of NTP and DNS function are a requirement
* Documented experience of work within Linux/Unix environments
* Documented certifications and/or experience from Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Citrix, F5 and NSX are desirable
* An understanding or the ability to quickly gain an understanding of our core systems and strategic direction
* An ability to translate security requirements as NIST, CMMC and other into technical solutions within Network domain
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
