Network Technical Engineer - L3 Service Desk
Location: Stockholm (Solna)

Job Description

Working to drive forward our Client's mission of delivering a top quality service to its internal and external customers, this role will involve working on the full product lines. Excellent knowledge of networking protocols and topologies is essential.

As a key member of the EMEA Support team we are looking for a candidate that has CCNA, or three year support of commercial network environments.

An energetic and enthusiastic approach is essential as the successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously and independently and drive forward the establishment of a top quality support team. Excellent communication skills and a desire to progress and learn will be equally important.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide faster turnaround in cases escalated to this tier of support, direct contact with customers where necessary.

• Be part of worldwide premium support team, possible out of region product support.

• Provide dedicated support to top resellers and integrators, Platinum tier.

• Possibility of onsite support for larger accounts.

• Position will be based in sales office, so part of role is to the liaison between sales and support.

• Support of sales when needed through delivering proof of concept and designed solutions.

• Creation of training material and where necessary carry out basic training.

• Work with others tiers of support, to drive effective call handling.

• Help in creation of documents for the knowledge base server, including translation of existing docs.

• Beta testing of units and providing feedback on products and features.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have a CCNA, other network qualifications always desirable. Be familiar with Firewalls, LAN, L2 & L3 Switching, WAN (NAT & RIP, OSPF), VPN

• Experience of supporting NAS and SAN devices is desirable, including integration with active directory and backup software vendors. Any virtualisation training or experience would be an advantage but not essential.

• Good knowledge of wireless networks and wireless securities is desirable.

• Knowledge of security and antivirus products would be useful but not essential.

• Good understanding of PC hardware/software and the Windows/Mac OSx operating systems including

• You must have excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast paced environment.

• Very good Swedish and English language skills (other Nordic languages desirable but not essential)
