Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage network solutions that align with business requirements.
Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement optimizations.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure network security, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolution to minimize downtime.
Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement.
Assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Network Specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring tools and security solutions.
Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
