The airline industry is undergoing a profound transformation as the convergence of technology, changing customer demands, and intensifying market competition reshape the travel landscape. That is why we are now looking to strengthen our Network Scheduling team. The ideal candidate will be a team player, quick thinker, and have a passion for continuous optimization of the traffic program while smoothly collaborating with stakeholders across the organization. As part of the Network Scheduling team, you will be a central point of contact for Network Management, Flight Crew Planning, Fleet Management and Maintenance Department. The position is located at SAS' head office in Stockholm and reports to Head of Network Scheduling. Will you get onboard and join our team?
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Design and optimize traffic program to secure balance between commercial and operational aspects
• Secure high productivity and operational robustness of traffic program
• Interact and cooperate with a wide range of stakeholders in adapting to changes in market and resource situation
• Manage and follow-up on SAS slot portfolio, ensure adherence to slot rules
To be successful, we believe you should have:
• University degree (Economics, Engineering, Logistics management or similar)
• Experience in airline systems and optimization tools is preferred (e.g. AirVision, FlightSuite, Altea)
• Highly developed logistical and planning skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and perform with consistent accuracy; detail-oriented
• Fluent in English and, preferably, one of the Scandinavian languages
