Saab ICT is seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Operation Support Technician to manage and support network infrastructure in a distributed team organization with a global footprint. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, is motivated to help the ICT team grow, and loves the challenge of solving problems.



Your role

* Work with leading edge hardware, software defined networking, and traditional networking to solve on a variety of challenging and innovative projects.
* Coordinate upgrades and changes with business entities and other technology infrastructure groups.
* Network service diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including resolutions
* Provide network support to internal or external customers
* Responsible for leading events and incidents
* Represent Network in problem investigations
* Deployments of WLAN and LAN installations
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
* Assist with product migrations and installations, as the business requires.
* Day to day contact with WAN providers and Service Agreement providers

This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.


Your profile


As a person you are solution- and project oriented, pedagogic and service minded with good knowledge of WAN/LAN/WLAN area. To be successful in this role, you have to communicate in a congruent and confident manner across various levels of the organization. In addition to this, you also have the ability to remain calm, composed and articulate when dealing with tough customer situations.



Required skills:

* Attentive to detail with strong analytical capabilities
* Technology inquisitive, intellectually curious and has an aggressive thirst for knowledge and learning as it pertains to the technical space.
* 2+ years of customer support, technical support, system administration or related customer facing role, related to network.
* Strong general networking skills
* Experience in performing Wireless Coverage planning

What you will be a part of



Saab ICT is responsible to drive and implement the Saab IT strategy as well as running the delivery to enable smooth and efficient daily operation, delivery and maintenance. Saab ICT also supports the business in the changing environment in M&A implementations and start-up of new office locations and any other change that is needed to support the business.
