The team consists of 18 colleagues, reporting to the Global Network Infrastructure Manager.
Job description
If successful, you will be in charge of network infrastructure and connectivity, as well as ensuring that our users receive world-class service, no matter where in the world they are located.
Additionally, you will take ownership of the Network Infrastructure Platforms - MPLS WAN, LAN, WLAN, as well as the Perimeter protection platform.
You will be managing key stakeholder expectations by owning the risks and issues associated with projects, ensuring these are reported and resolved in a timely manner. You will do technical designs, implementation and operation of network infrastructure solutions.
Some international travel will be part of the role.
Education and Experience requirements
You have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience within Network Infrastructure and Connectivity Platforms, ideally from an international organization working on large infrastructure integration projects and/or in network infrastructure operation teams.
You have reached a CCNP level or higher knowledge backed by extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise scale Cisco network solutions.
You have experience in network automation, scripting and orchestration, as well as knowledge in and ideally hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless platforms and general routing & switching principles (QoS, BGP, OSPF / EIGRP, STP etc.)
You are familiar with remote management of enterprise Networks, automation and scripting.

You feel that challenges drive you and surpassing expectations motives you. Furthermore, you are a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills, who enjoys collaboration both on an internal and external level.
You enjoy staying on top of the latest IT-technology, hands-on troubleshooting and being in an end-of-escalation line for business critical incidents.
Taking ownership comes to you naturally and you enjoy sharing your knowledge, experience and technical know-how through mentoring less experienced colleagues.
