Job Summary:
Business Area Networks (BNEW) is responsible for Ericsson's industry leading radio products and solutions and is the foundation for Ericsson's technology leadership. BNEW is focused on securing our ongoing market leadership in radio, taking a leadership position in 5G, and continuing to invest for sustainable technology leadership within a highly competitive market.
As a Network Infrastructure Architecture, you will have the ability to build principles, models and guidelines from strategies, and develop cost efficient solutions that are consistent between business, information and technology.
Responsibilities:
Develop IP network solutions for Mobile Radio Access customers and service requirements with network devices, such as: Extreme, Juniper switches, servers, security gateways SRX, Ericsson Edge routers
Implement hardware and software upgrades, system integrations, vendor-based solutions, and other datacenter optimizations
Create, amend and maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams
Maintain relevant and current knowledge within assigned technical fields
Network monitoring with OP5
DHCP and DNS vendor specifics configuration
Configure different types of switches and routers
Troubleshoot network infrastructure issues
Investigate and solve complex problems that require substantial analysis by developing existing procedures, techniques and methods.
Guide and lead others in the work

Key Qualifications:
Education: Academic degree, minimum on Bachelor level in Engineerng (IT, Telecom)
Scrum/Kanban based agile working experience
Terrific ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
Knowledge Sharing of Ericsson processes is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
Proven hands-on network engineering experience, IP Internetworking and LAN Switching
Deep understanding of network protocols and models:: MPLS, VPLS, IPSec, VPN, HSRP, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Routers, Switches, Wireless LAN, DHCP, QoS, ACLs, SNMP, NAT, IP Telephony, ASA, TACACS/ACS, Cisco UC, Ethereal/Wireshark, Juniper, Managed services, ITIL-V3
Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
Network management, network availability and capacity planning
Internetworking troubleshooting in a large-scale network Lab environment
Stateful firewall, SSL and VPN
CCNA or JNCIA-SA Certification, Higher Juniper certification would be added advantage
