• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration; directing system installation; defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Maximizes network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• From a technical perspective you will work with TCP/IP, Security, LAN, WAN - devices and technologies: VLAN routing, VTP, Spanning Tree, BGP, MPLS, ISDN, VPN, SSL, HSRP, Cisco, HP ProCurve, Nokia, Checkpoint firewall, Alcatel, 3Com, Blade, FWSM, Nortel VPN concentrators, Juniper, CISCO ASA, Wireless, F5 Big IP, CISCO LB, ACE, CSS, Foundry, Zeus, CSM, WAN accelerators, IDS/IPS.
• Proactive to anticipate issues or situations which impact service quality, adapts quickly to new technology & understands complex infrastructures work according to the procedures and best practices of HP MSDD EMEA Network.
• Work according to the procedures and best practices of HP MSDD EMEA, Networks.
• Perform investigation on new technology, help inbound project managers and other support team to introduce new technology, capacity planning & performance management.
• Ensure the service level agreement (SLA's) are met the entire meet.
Essential requirements:
• Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in IT networking and operations.
• Ideally you will have previously worked in a customer facing technical engineering role.
• Holding CCNA or other certification will be an added advantage.
• Ability to live and work in the country of your application with no additional VISA sponsorship.
• Must be fluent in Swedish and as well as English .
• Excellent customer facing skills as well as ability motivate and support other team members toward achieving the goal.
