hela Sverige Nasdaq is now looking for a Network Engineer to join the Nasdaq Network Infrastructure team at the Stockholm office. You will be part of a large team of Network Professionals who sit in the renovated former Ford assembly plant in Frihamnen, in our spacious and open plan factory-style campus, which houses 700 of Nasdaq's IT talent across many departments including engineering, architecture, development and testers.

About the role and responsibilities
As a Network Engineer you will be a key person for understanding the technical needs of the business and providing technical support to engineers and scientists in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.
Other responsibilities:
• Managing and supporting public and private network. Supporting networks in our production and office environments on a global basis, all based on IP communication, and different routing protocols for WAN communication.
• Installing, monitoring, maintaining, upgrading and supporting network communications systems to provide maximum performance and availability on complex projects
• Performing capacity planning, routing, switching and load balancing, and taking responsibility for the day-to-day provisioning and maintenance of network services and mentors others in these activities.
Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications:
• Education Required: University degree in computer science, information technology or similar
Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
• At least 5 years of work experience with Networks
• Experience managing Cisco routers and switches
• Cisco CCNP or equivalent certification is a mandatory
• Ability to be a member of on-call rotation
• Excellent language skill in written and spoken English
Experience from working with financial systems, especially clearing/settlement systems, would be a plus.To be a good match for this role you should have an agile mindset and enjoy working under constantly changing conditions. In addition you should possess a strong drive to achieve result, be a good team member and be able to work efficiently both independently and in cooperation with others.
