hela Sverige Knowit is a digitalization consultant company and a Nordic powerhouse for the digital business models of the future. We are now looking for a Network Engineer who wants to be working hands-on with IP networking and security solutions for telecom environments. Is that you?
Role
In this role you will be a part of a team that works in an ongoing project. You are expected to know the IP network from design, implementation, operation and security. The team is responsible for infrastructures that enable development, test and showcasing of the customers products and solutions. Most focus is in network solutions around cloud, but it's not limited to that area.
The work is mainly focused on routers, switches and firewalls, but products like traffic generators, packet monitoring, Wi-Fi, network monitoring systems and more is also part of the work description. Also, in this role you analysis the customer requirements into design and implementation, building new as well as changing existing network configurations.
Who are you?
You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge when working in teams. You are experienced within IP networking and security, at least with CCNP/JNCIP certificate level or equal. Besides this you are used to working with, and have deep knowledge about routers, switches and firewalls from different vendors in live environments and understand what it means to operate live networks with many users. If you know telecom or have earlier experiences within large-scale datacenter network is a great advantage.
The spoken language in the teams is English so it is expected that you are good in both speech and writing.
