hela Sverige We are looking for clever Network Engineer in our Stockholm office who will be responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring our virtual infrastructure running Sinch real-time systems. The tasks as Network Engineer will include collaboration with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. As a Linux Network Engineer at Sinch you will play a key role at a worldwide leader in delivery of Messaging Solutions. Main responsibilitiesEnsure high availability of our infrastructureMaintain monitoring, Helpdesk, automation and reporting toolsConfiguration managementManage Network componentsSystem integrations Normal working hours are weekdays, but the role includes that you are available outside normal office hours in case of major emergencies on systems that run in the virtualized environments and your expertise are required. We think the perfect candidate has experience and knowledge within the following areas: Extensive Linux competence and experienceKnowledge within the fundamentals of Linux scripting languagesFamiliarity with load balancing, API management and firewallsFluency in both written and spoken English The following skills and experience are beneficial but not required:Virtualized technologies (for example, RHEV, Openstack)Experience with system integrationSoftware development skills for operational purposes (Python, for example)Configuration manager tools like Ansible, Puppet or similarHandling of RESTful API:s Realtime systems, such as OCS/Prepaid Systems or VAS systems (SMSC, MMSC, USSD, WAP GW, IVR, Voice Mail, Collect Call etc.)Knowledge in Oracle DB We believe that the right candidate has following personal and professional characteristics: Takes initiative and makes carefully considered decisionsTechnical- and solution orientedComfortable and experienced in multitaskingWell-organizedA positive attitudeComfortable and positive towards working in an ever-changing worldA recognized ability to excel and exceed expectations.
