As a Network Consultant in our team, you will work with various projects in the customer's own environment, as a part of Tele2's integrator business. This can mean anything from assisting the customer with implementing and configuring new switches or access points to being a solutions architect in a certain project. As a consultant, you are also expected to obtain a helicopter view of the customer's environment so you can suggest additional improvements to the customer's networks.
You will primarily get to work with products from industry leading partners such as Cisco, Check Point, F5 Networks and Infoblox, with the opportunity to specialize in a certain area.
Networks Advanced Services North consists of twelve consultants spread over the northern region of Sweden, from Falun in the south to Luleå in the north. This position will be based in Falun, where you will work closely together with 4 other consultants and other operations staff.
Responsibilities include:
Implementing and configuring new switches, routers, access points and other network elements within the customers environment
Be a part of larger network projects, such as migrating firewalls or implementing new network features
Work with security analysis of port openings in firewalls
Occasionally be present at customer site to physically replace switches, routers etc
On-call duties might occur
Requirements
To be successful in the role you'll need a genuine technical interest, be able to build good relations with customers and colleagues, be self-propelled and have the ability to take the initiative.
You also need:
2-3 years of experience working with network technology
CCNA or equivalent experience
Good communication skills in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)
Drivers license
If you also meet any criteria below, we'd consider that a big bonus:
Relevant education
Previous work as a consultant
Experience with F5 Networks Traffic Management
Experience with Infoblox DDI
Experience with security solutions from Check Point
Good knowledge about wireless communications
CCNP or equivalent experience
