OUR NEW BUSINESS TEAM
New Business is like a company within the company, focusing on products areas and ideas that connects to but are outside network video. We are evaluating and prototyping new business ideas in both technical and commercial perspective and has the responsibility from product idea, development and although the product lifecycle.
Being an independent department enables quick decisions and possibilities to use optimal technique and ways of working. By re-using as much as possible of Axis competence, development, and technology we can focus on new products and features.
The combination of stand-alone team and Axis technical progress as world leader in Network cameras gives strength and dynamics.
OUR R&D AUDIO TEAM
Axis Network Audio is an end-to-end Audio Solution, comprising products from complex management systems to speakers and content applications. Everything is developed within Axis giving our developers the possibility to make optimal solutions and the opportunity for cross-function co-operations. The R&D Audio firmware team is responsible for hardware close and user space embedded development enabling to focus on what you are passionate about.
The team members are strongly involved in design and implementation the firmware in our products but also in technology choices, way of working, and contribute to the scope of future products in close cooperation with the product managers. The product development is done in dedicated teams with high level of cooperation between the different competences, e.g., electronics and mechanical constructors, quality assurance and app development.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for you that enjoys:
the challenges in embedded development, both experienced and newly graduated

be a part of taking a new area to success working together with skilled and dedicated colleagues
having fun at work
An interest in audio in general is of course an extra advantage. In addition to the above, experience from the following areas is meriting: GStreamer, Linux, C, GIT, Gerrit, GDB debugging, and Jenkins.
You have a Master or Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering or similar and experience in software development.
