Job Description
Candidate with foundation of deep technical hands on expertise in network technologies. He /She should possess a high-level knowledge across compute, storage, and security disciplines supplemented with automation experience to have a "big picture" vision. He /She shall have proven experience in planning, managing and deploying large scale network projects. Minimum14 years + of Operations and transformations experience.
Although it's a transformational role but Candidate should attain Operational knowledge to provide the support for escalation of network incidents during critical network emergencies.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Must have CCIE and/or CCDE certification.
• Must have vendor certification on at least one SDN Controller platform such as VMWare NSX, Cisco ACI or Nuage VSP.
• Expertise with - DCLAN and WAN technologies: Segment Routing, VXLAN, Load Balancers (Citrix/F5) and either of SDWAN technologies- Cisco iWAN, Viptela, Riverbed and Talari.
• Expertise with -Campus LAN Switches and WLAN - Controller configuration and Cisco ISE integrations.
• Demonstrated ability in leading large network transition and transformation projects and delivering those projects on time and within guidelines
• Demonstrated ability in participating and leading in RFPs and preparing strategic responses.
• The ability to analyze competing projects, assess requirements, assess technical risk, and communicate impact to the business.
• Recent experience leading a project delivering some aspect of segmentation on a large-scale environment spanning both data center and wide area networks.
• Have a minimum of 14 years' experience designing, developing, configuring, and implementing large scale global enterprise networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.
• Must have an extensive experience in governing large scaler transformation activities
• Experience with SDN (Software Defined Networking) protocols including Open flow.
• Familiarity with storage and server virtualization technologies and dependencies to network infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience leading a project delivering some aspect of network services automation
• Possess programming competence, with technical skills in some variant of each of the following:
o Automation Frameworks (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.)
o Coding: Python
• Experience in multivendor network devices configuration - i.e. HPE, Brocade and Juniper.
• Experience to prepare Bill of Material, Migration approach, ramp up plan and effort estimation (transformation and transition) based on the inputs received as part of RFPs.
• Have excellent communication skills with a proven track record of presenting at the most senior levels within the enterprise and the network industry.
