As a Network and Security specialist you have the responsibility to ensure the availability, security and performance of our production and QA network and network components.
The role includes supporting the organization and development departments in terms of operation, support and optimization of firewalls, load balancers and switches.
• Operate and manage daily tasks regarding firewalls/loadbalancers/switches
• Troubleshooting and optimize firewalls/loadbalancers/switches
• Take ownership of your product(s) and make sure it is always state of the art from a functional and technical perspective.
• Continuously seek to improve both product(s) and ways of working in the team
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing and collaboration
• Actively initiate communication within the team and with other teams
• Bring in new innovative ideas to the team (technology, features or ways of working)

High logical and analytical skills with an ability to create structure in your work. You are solutions oriented, curious and engaged in your work.
• You have very good experience (3-5 years) in Checkpoint Firewall solutions
• You have very good experience (3-5 years) in F5 Load Balancer solutions
• You have very good experience (3-5 years) in Juniper Switches
• You have very good experience (3-5 years) in networking architecture and security solutions
• You have good experience Windows Server
• You have good experience Linux (Cent, Red Hat)
• You have good experience in automation and configuration
• You have good experience in monitoring systems such as Indeni, Orion and Splunk

• You have previous experience in critical 24/7 enterprise environment operation
• You are a F5 certified solution expert or higher
