We are looking for a Network Administrator to grow into taking on the main responsibility for network infrastructure and architecture at fast growing ecommerce company Pierce. Are you already ab seasoned administrator? Even Better!
You will be working within the Infrastructure & Operations team alongside sysadmin specialists and IT technicians responsible for all Pierce infrastructure. The team is distributed but core IT infrastructure is based in Sweden and logistics IT infrastructure is focused to Poland.
What we expect you to do:
- Deployment of new network infrastructure, performing firmware upgrades, planning, scheduling, coordinating changes with various stakeholders and vendors.
- Managing and troubleshooting network equipment such as Cisco Nexus switches, HP/Aruba switches and access points, Clavister firewalls
- Taking corrective action, working with appropriate teams in the event of major incidents, coordinating suppliers in the event of hardware problems, problems with service providers and working on service improvement plans
- Monitor network health, performance and integrity
Required Skills:
- Experience in datacenter, WAN and LAN network architecture and infrastructure management
- Practical experience in common network technologies equivalent to CCNA
- Experience in carrying out network changes, performing firmware upgrades wherever necessary, according to requirements, recommending and performing audits of network equipment and taking appropriate corrective action
- Experience in firewall configuration and security concepts
- Documented practical experience in at least ONE of the technologies below:
- HP/Aruba
- Clavister
- Cisco
- Good English knowledge, written and spoken, as it is our company language
- Driving License for regular car(B)
Meriting Skills:
- Network certification
- Knowledge about other IT technologies
We welcome applicants with different backgrounds and nationalities, but we do require you to have the relevant work permits to work in Sweden
