• Installing & Configuring EMC Legato Networker, Symantec Netbackup & Veeam.
• Managing Back-up operations with EMC Legato Networker, Symantec Netbackup & Veeam.
• Monitoring backup and ensure successful completion for 1500+ clients.
• Scheduling backups as per Service Level Agreement & Client requirements.
• Configuring Tape Libraries, creating Media Pools, Groups, Clients, etc.,
• Plan and implement software / hardware / firmware upgrades.
• Deploying restore & recovery during media failures / data loss.
• Data replication on Disk to Tapes by configuring Clone Controlled Replication.
• Trouble shooting backup, restore, device & other issues.
• Performing data restoration from earlier backups whenever some critical data is lost or when data loss occurs due to drive failure / system crash.
• Upgrading Networker Server, Storage Nodes and Clients.
• Installing and configuring Module backups for SQL, Exchange, Oracle & DB2 clients.
• Managing VMware backups through snapshot backups.
• Standardize media management process on multiple sites.
• Daily status report on process execution on server health and backup status.
• Raising Change records on ITSM ticketing tool for major upgrades / hardware changes.
• Experience on different operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, Redhat Linux & AIX.
• Responsible for implementing the backup policy of Client including the installation of backup agents in servers and configuring the backup server(s) so that the backup window as defined by Client is achieved.
• Planning, designing and implementing new backup data zones as per client requirement.
• Working with IBM Scalar tape libraries
Storage:
• Working on HP StoreOnce
• Creating disk pools, disks on HP StoreOnce
• Creating LUN and groups on filer and presenting those LUNs to windows and UNIX boxes
• Upgrading filer version, Disk & disk shelf firmware upgrades
• Data Migration & data mirroring, replication to migrate the data
• Configuring Zoning
• Configuring, Administrator for creating a filer, adding/removing resource for the Vfiler, Moving Vfiler from filer
• Creating Volume NFS, LUN, Snapshot
• Setup the New Filer and configure into the production.
• Manage HP 3PAR Storage Arrays
• Configuring volumes, CPGs, Pools, Remote copy on 3PAR
• Fine tuning 3PAR performance
• Working on Director level SAN fabric
• Working on Packetlight MUX
