In the past, the Nordic countries have had four separate sets of support functions. The new Nordic structure operates on a cross-country level and allows us to fully utilize the various functions in the company. The new organization was implemented in the last quarter of 2010 and went live in January 2011.
Finance department, Netting & Agents, are now looking for a netting accountant. Transaction processing, Credit Control & Treasury is a sub-function within Finance and Administration and the purpose of this sub-function can be grouped into three main areas;
• Transaction processing which includes the recording and payments of all supplier's invoices, processing customer payments and clear internal invoices (Netting) and agents.
• Manage the credit control procedures with credit application processes, handling remainders to customer and collection.
• Manage and control the cash flow and foreign currency exposure.

Job description
As Netting Accountant your main responsibility is to process booking and payments within the deadlines. You are also responsible for handling disputes/reconciliation and follow-up on missing invoices according to deadlines and other guidelines. You will maintain and follow up on files from Geodis companies and agents and be an active part in developing Nordic Netting. You will be Super User in the Balance Partner System.
Requirements
You have a secondary school degree within Finance, or similar education degree, and two years practice within a similar position in Finance. Experience within the Logistics business is preferred and also experience in handling international customer and suppliers (invoices, payment, reminders, statements etc,). You have good skills in using MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word etc) and are fluent in the English language.
