We invite you to join our Tech Community at If as a .NET trainee. Would you like to develop yourself together with inspiring colleagues, in a program that provides a smooth transition from studies to working life? We want to offer you the best possible start of your career! The position is permanent and full-time. No previous .NET knowledge is required.
If has onboarded more than 50 new colleagues in the Nordics through the .NET trainee program since 2019. Feedback from the trainees has been highly positive, praising the content of the program as well as the supportive and positive environment.
The program runs for 6 months, the first 3 months focusing on training, and the last 3 months you are part of a team and grow together into your permanent position. You will learn to use technologies and tools such as .NET Core, C#, React, and Azure. We'll focus on a specific topic each week and learn about it through common learning sessions. In addition, you'll get a lot of hands-on experience through exercises, practice projects and workshops. During the program, we provide you with the opportunity to grow to full stack developer and we support you based on your ambitions.
What do we offer?
We are looking for motivated students who would like to start their career in a trainee program, focusing on learning and developing in a Microsoft environment with the support of open-minded, competent colleagues. You'll learn skills and technologies that will give you a great start in your career as a software developer. You'll have experienced colleagues to teach you and support you, and together with other trainees you can discuss and share ideas. In the end of the program, you will move over to a permanent position within a designated development team.
About the team
If Insurance will have 6 positions in Stockholm for trainees who will connect, share knowledge, and grow together. In collaboration with other experienced colleagues you will boost your skills within .NET, so that in the end you could go into the role within a team of other developers. You will have your own buddy and a dedicated mentor to help you develop to the fullest in the program.
Who are you?
Our trainees are primarily students who have recently graduated or will graduate by summer 2023 with a degree within software development, computer science or equivalent. We expect you to have object-oriented programming skills, acquired through your software development studies. You are motivated to work as a developer and interested in learning more about .NET technology, previous .NET experience is not required. Further you have good communication and cooperation skills. We expect you to have good skills in English, but Swedish language skills is not required.
