Are you an experienced .Net developer that enjoys back-end/process development and wants to work in a newly created team where focus is on technical competence, good cooperation and innovative thinking? We are now looking for a developer working within our financial management platform program.
SEB Pension & Försäkring is one of the leading life insurance companies in the Nordics with 1.8 million customers, whereof 1.3 million in Sweden. In order to keep up with the rapid changes within IT and to keep increasing the quality of our deliveries we are now looking for someone to join us in in this area.
About the team and the job
As a developer you will join a newly started team with the ambition to build our next generation financial management platform (FMP). As a highly prioritized area FMP is a foundation for SEB P&F's journey to become data driven where technologies such as Cloud, SaaS, and Containers will be part of your everyday work.
Within SEB we work according to SAFe principles and the team is part of the Financial Management & Data Analytics tribe. This means that we work closely with business planning and delivering value in short iterative cycles.
Who are you?
Being curious, driven and having the right mindset will get you a long way in this role. You should be willing to and have the experience necessary to take the lead in some areas of the development of the new platform. Since we are a diverse work force it is important to be able to communicate well in English (verbally as well as written) and to be open to work in new and different arrangements. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in the insurance or banking/finance industry.
In order to fit into this role, you should have:
3 to 5 years of working experience within .Net development
Be an expert in C#, .Net Core development
Have strong experience working in a container environment - Docker/Open Shift
Previous experience integrating with other systems using for example cloud services
Experience working with back-office/process development
Previous experience with APIs and Microservices
Clear and professional communication is an important skill. You may, for example, be expected to present ideas and solutions for a bigger group of people and to facilitate requirement workshops with business users.
