At the department Diagnostic tools we work on developing the diagnostic tools for the entire Volvo group (AB Volvo). You will be given the opportunity to work with the latest techniques, within Microsoft .Net and Java platforms, with applications developed for different devices, PC and handheld devices. Our services are today being used by over 35000 users all over the world. Working with diagnostic tools means that you will be working in a global environment in global teams.
NET Architect
We are looking for a skilled .NET Architect to enlarge our team.
As a .NET Architect you will participate in the discovery and documentation of the customer's business scenarios that are driving the solution. You will ensure integrity of the architecture, in terms of connecting various views to each other, and satisfactorily reconciling the conflicting concerns of different stakeholders.
You have a holistic view when interpreting the requirement and business needs. You listen to information, influence people, facilitate consensus building, synthesize and translate ideas into understandable, actionable requirements and articulate those ideas to others. You have an interest in staying updated with the latest technique. You are a self going driving force with the power of initiative.
Required skills:
• Microsoft .NET
• C#
• Strong application development background at least 5 years
• Professional experience of architectural work
• Experience of working in agile projects will be seen as an advantage
• General qualifications and skills:
• Academic qualifications within the relevant field
• Communicative team-player
• Leadership skills
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
• Excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English
