Job description
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Maintenance, support and development of SENA IT Infrastructure and for personal area in focus.
POSITION IN ORGANISATION:
Senior Network and Infrastructure Technician
JOB SCOPE
• Will make sure areas in focus is up to date and maintain knowledge in it.
• Administration of rights and authorities for programs and network resources as different group policy's and other security applications
• Maintain a reliable and secure environment for the company's information and correspondence.
• Contribute to a stable, secure and well-functioning IT and Telecom infrastructure all over SENA and to develop the infrastructure for future needs and demands.
• Doing all the necessary maintenance of the infrastructure that is not in the scope of our IT support consultants, it includes all tasks related with IT security and policy handling as well as creation of system IDs.
• Purchase new hardware and plan for future demands in appointed areas of responsibility.
• Infrastructure; including contacting and negotiating with new and existing suppliers as well as service providers regarding improvements and cost savings for different IT services and IT hardware.
• Maintain a stable, secure and well-functioning security environment for pc-clients and server environment
• Contribute to a qualified and fast internal support.

• IT vendors and operators
• Server Support Technicians from our outsourced IT support function
• Samsung Data Services Technicians as well as Samsung Network Support Technicians in UK HQ
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
• Deeper knowledge in several system below on administrator level is required
oRelevant Acedemical Education with at least 160p
oActive Directory including very good knowledge in Microsoft Group policies
oVirtual server Enviroment and Infratructure (VMware)
oDocumentation Skills
oRisk and Disaster Analysis
oMicrosoft Server 2012/2008 R2
oExchange 2012/2010 / Exchange 2012/2010 Management Shell Script
oSymantec Endpoint Protection & Endpoint Manager
oAvaya CCR & Avaya Switchboard
oVideoconference Equipment and Video center
oDatacore / Lefthand / SANRAD (Storage)
oNetwork infrastructure LAN,WAN, VLAN, Switches, Routers, Firewalls (Cisco , HP)
oRelevant KY/Practical IT-education or equivalent job experience within IT
EXPERIENCE
• Managing and maintaining IT infrastructure environments as well as handling support on client level and/or sufficient IT education.
• Have been working as Senior Network and Infrastructure Technician
for 5 years at least, experience from several companies is meritorious.
• Good knowledge in Intranet maintenance and customizing is also meriting
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
• Good sense for order and structure
• Good communication skills in most of all English language both orally and literally
• Good sense of coordinating different resources within different countries and different technical areas.
• You are a pro-active person and you are seen by others as a "doer" and has a high energy level. As a person you are open minded and service oriented.
• You have no problem working towards goals given and deliver on time.
