NASDAQ OMX is currently looking for a Requirement Analyst to the Nordic Markets Project Office in Stockholm.
The position is a client-facing position focused on the elicitation and management of requirements across the system development lifecycle. It requires previous hands-on experience with requirements management with significant stakeholder interaction.
You are a self-starter requiring minimal oversight and guidance. You are detail oriented, with excellent writing, organizational, presentation, and facilitation skills. Must have ability to work effectively and cooperatively with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
General Responsibilities:
• Elicit detailed business and system requirements from business owners and stakeholders
• Producing detailed functional specifications for development and test staff
• Work with IT colleagues to develop resource estimates and timelines
• From a business and system requirement perspective support design, development, testing, deployment and transition into operation
• Occasionally to provide user training on new functionality and to handle user queries regarding system functionality
• Occasionally respond to unresolved production support issues and participate in analysis and resolution on behalf of the business
Qualifications required:
• University degree or equivalent
• 5+ years IT delivery experience ideally within the finance industry.
• You are comfortable getting requirements from multiple business team members and provide solutions that are easy to develop and easy to maintain
• A strong analytical aptitude and the ability to understand and manage complex concepts.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent language skills in written and spoken English and Swedish.
• Good understanding of project team dynamics
• Should be an avid learner and interested in keeping up with the latest industry trends and technologies.
To suit this position it is important that you have a pro-active approach with a service minded 'can do' attitude. A proven ability to successfully progress difficult problems through to a conclusion as well as a strong client focus is also a must for this position. The ideal candidate is a natural team player with a highly developed social competence, great communication skills and the ability to build knowledge. To be successful in this role you also need to be able to multi task and efficiently manage time and priorities. Furthermore you need to have the ability to work against a firm delivery date with short time to market.
This position gives you an opportunity to learn the details about different markets, financial instruments, international clearing procedures, settlement and trading models. You will develop technical skills, speed, project participation, great understanding of the exchange and clearing industry and get extremely good at expressing technical and business relations in text. You will be part of a very qualified team and to develop interesting, complex and high quality products.

This is a permanent full time position located in Stockholm but may require some traveling. Desired start date is as soon as possible.
