Are you passionate about story and narrative in games? Do you want to join a dedicated team to help craft and develop a range of new and existing mobile games? If your answer is "yes" this might be the right opportunity for you!
Your role within the Kingdom
liaise with the design team ensuring all story and dialogue requirements are met. You may be asked to write and provide a full suite of high-quality narrative design elements for a game or set of games including world and story definition, character bios, in-game dialog, cinematic scripts, UI copy and all copywriting for the projects to which you are assigned.
work collaboratively with the Design Director/Lead Game Designer on overall narrative and story content for your projects. Deliver narrative content that supports the vision established by the Creative Director and Studio Head by contributing elements that define the tone and flow of the game's story, world, characters, narrative structure and contextual narrative elements.
work closely with all crafts in the game teams as well as all supporting functions (Globalization, Marketing, etc.) to ensure narrative consistency and coherence within your title. Participate in team meetings presenting narrative to internal and external stakeholders.
work in close collaboration with game designers, artists, engineers, producers and audio directors to develop and offer consistently high-quality game writing and that strengthen player's emotional engagement and retention ensuring tonal coherence and IP consistency.
partner with our translation team to make sure that each line has the right context and tone when being translated into multiple languages
take care of all copywriting as needed, working with Marketing, Brand, CRM, and Social Media and translation teams.

Skills to Create Thrills
You are a versatile writer, able to deliver written narrative content for games across a variety of genres and IPs.
You are a pragmatic editor, able to create story content suitable for the mobile platform, schooled in mobile best practices and how to deliver the strongest narrative "punch" in the fewest words possible.
You are a highly competent dialog writer with a lyrical ear for wordsmithing and a strong eye for how visual storytelling can help writers tell stories in few words
You are a passionate storyteller. You will help your teams develop worlds, rule sets, lore and characters providing guidance on features and asset development specific to narration.
You are graceful designer, able to drive narrative context and build fictional fabric into a product's DNA and wrap it around the play experience.
You are passionate about the art of seamlessly integrating narrative and gameplay
You are a learner. Able and eager to work within existing IP guidelines to innovate while maintaining a broad and far-reaching brand and able to create brand documentation, detailed scripts, and game glossaries when needed.
