Editor Scripting ( in-house editor )
Basic scripting in Python
Basic scripting of NPC's (walk, interact, patrol, react to player)
Prepare locations for Narrative content
Prepare narrative scenes from templates - (events, interactive dialogue and cutscenes)
Skillset needed for the Narrative Design Scripter
Basic knowledge of Autodesk Motion Builder or Maya
Basic knowledge of a script language ( Python, C#, XML )
Level design/building skills
Narrative game-play passion
Bonus
Game Editor experience ( Unity, Unreal, etc )

The Position
Avalanche Studios is looking for a Narrative Design Scripter to join our team in creating the next great AAA open world action game. The Narrative Design Scripter would work under the direction of the Narrative Director, and would be responsible for conveying their vision for the game's narrative elements. This role will primarily involve creating, owning, and implementing narrative content in close collaboration with game and level/world designers. The Junior Narrative Design Scripter will also set- up narrative Scenes from templates and write dialogue and in-game text, the role will primarily be focused on the game itself.
