Barnvaktis is a baby-sitting and nanny agency located in Malmö. We help families to a better every-day-life by our services. If you have the required experience and personality, this is a unique opportunity!
The Family is native English and lives in Sweden since 1,5 years. Their two children are 2,5 and 6,5 years old.
Your responsibilities
Your main focus will be to provide care for both children based from their home. Pick up from pre school and school, give snacks and care. Sometimes the family might need extra overnight care and also to leave the kids at school in the morning. There will also be some household activities. The time with the children should be dedicated to the children.
Both parents will be at work most days but probably the mother will work from home one day each week. Your workday will follow a rather strict schedule, but your creativity and competence will be the leading star for making the children?s day something extra.
Working hours
Monday to Thursday, from 14.00-18.00. The Family also need you on full time 5-22 August, 8.00-17.30 Monday to Friday. And the same goes for the November holiday and Christmas. There will be additional need for occasional baby-sitting. Start date 5 August. Preferably you study and have a very flexible schedule, or you have another part time job on mornings. The nanny need is at least 6 months from August.
Your profile
• The job requires you to be fluent in English and Swedish is also preferred.
• You should have at least 1-2 years experience as Nanny or in Pre-School/Day Care.
• Driving Licence and own car is a bonus.
Since children are unpredictable it is important that you are proactive in your behaviour and adapt the daily activities according to the children's needs. You are secure and calm as a person and find it natural to be creative and stimulate the children to learn and develop. Open and honest communication is critical to keep all parties happy.
